Welcome to Loved First!
We’re so glad you’re here!
This is how God showed His love among us. He sent His one and only Son into the world so that we might live through Him... We love because He first loved us.”— 1 John 4: 9,19
The heart of Loved First is built on this truth. We understand that one of the greatest fears in the world is feeling unloved or not enough. But by God’s grace, we are here to remind you:
You are enough because of Jesus.
You are deeply loved by Him!
This site is dedicated to the book "How Can I Breathe Again?"—a guide to help you grow in your understanding of God’s love and His ongoing work in your life. My prayer is through Bible truths and practical tools, you’ll learn how to prioritize your relationship with God and experience true peace with Him and those around you.
Welcome again—we pray you feel His love here!
About
My name is Shelli

Shelli Jo graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota,
with her bachelor of arts degree in elementary education. She has been blessed to have
served in many teaching ministry positions: WELS Lutheran daycare director, preschool
teacher, after-school care leader, infant child care supervisor, and a case manager for
single mothers. She has also been able to serve in the sales world as a fitness trainer, as
an assistant retail manager, and as an entrepreneur for twenty-five years with Mary Kay
Cosmetics.
Shelli is a single mother residing in Jefferson, Wisconsin; she enjoys spending
time with her two adult daughters, her son-in-law, her stepdaughter’s family, and her
four children.
Her pleasures in life include reading, traveling, thrifting, watching theater, and
nurturing her passion for writing, speaking, mentoring, coaching, and leading Bible
studies.
Her motto: Peace and joy are achieved by surrendering to God’s will and serving
Him in the daily grind with a grateful heart.
My mission: To speak God’s truths concerning relationships that give wisdom, courage, confidence, and peace to his people.
